Cuculand and Papane packaging designs are featured in TASCHEN's The Package Design Book
TASCHEN has teamed up with Pentawards for a comprehensive publication on package design
Brandient won the Pentawards (Bronze) in the packaging Beverages category for the Cuculand™ Ice Tea design at the 2010 edition of the prestigious international design competition.
Brandient was presented with the Bronze prize in the ‘Food’ category at the 2009 edition of the Pentawards international competition, for the packaging design of Papane (breaded chicken products), a brand belonging to Romanian company Transavia.
Featuring a selection of over 400 works from 39 countries, The Packaging Design Book brings together all the Pentawards winners from 2009 and 2010 plus the main winners from 2008, providing a vivid demonstration of creativity in every form of packaging. Featuring the world's best packaging with in-depth case studies, it analyses how ground-breaking designs are developed by top design and branding offices. Divided into chapters by type—beverages, electronics, food, health & beauty, homecare & hygiene, luxury, pharmaceutical, store & retail—and indispensable for design and marketing professionals, advertisers, or anyone interested in this field, this book explains how to package a product that sells.
Pentawards is the first and only worldwide competition dedicated to packaging design in all its forms, open to anyone associated with its creation and/or marketing. Aside from prize-giving, Pentawards' mission is the worldwide promotion of packaging design among companies, media, economic and political authorities, and the general public.
