Solaris logo by Brandient, winner at Color in Design Awards 2012
The vibrant photo-logo recognized for innovative, bold use of color
Our work for Solaris was awarded at the international competition Color in Design 2012, organized by How Design and Print Magazine in partnership with Pantone. The two prestigious design publications and the global color brand set out to award exceptional use of color in design.
The new, colorful logo for Solaris was created for the umbrella brand covering a wide range of natural goods: raw food, cereals, spices and natural remedies produced by Radix in Romania.
The awarded photo-logo makes use of the texture given by different grains, seeds, leaves and petals of different colors in order to convey vitality and health. Countless hours of maniacal attention to details were needed to create the new Solaris photo-illustration, made out of hundreds of components.
The winning Solaris logo will be featured by this summers' issues of How Design and Print Magazine, as well as on the Pantone website. Until then, browse the Color in Design Collection to see last year's winners.
