Übernuts packaging nominated for the German Design Award 2016

Another international recognition for Brandient design

German Design Award 2016

German Design Award 2016

Brandient is honored to have received yet another nomination for the German Design Award, organized by the reputable German Design Council. For the 2016 edition, Übernuts has been nominated in the ‘Packaging’ category of the awards’ prestigious Excellent Communications Design competition.

We are happy to see that the brand’s bold and humorous identity—a very unconventional choice in the nuts and seeds product category, where functionality dictates undifferentiated design—is being acknowledged by the awards’ eminent jury.

The packaging design for Übernuts has already been distinguished last year with a Silver Prize at the Pentawards Gala in Tokyo, as well as with a Silver Graphis Award. It was furthermore featured in a number of magazines and books dedicated to exceptional design, such as Creative Anarchy, Packaging Design Magazine (USA) and on the cover of Package Design (China).

Previous nominations received by Brandient for the German Design Award were for Indygen for the 2015 edition and Bitdefender for 2013 edition.

The German Design Council is an independent and internationally active institution that supports companies in efficiently communicating design expertise and also seeks to strengthen the broader general public's understanding of design. The German Design Council was established as a foundation in 1953 by decree of the German Federal Parliament. It supports the business world in all aspects of design.
