Brandient wins Graphis Gold Award
The innovative identity designed for eMAG will feature in Graphis Design Annual 2012
Graphis, the 60 years old international bastion of excellence in design, recognizes with the Gold award at the Graphis Best in Design 2012 competition the polymorphous identity created by Brandient for the leading Eastern European online retailer eMAG.
The modular logo is conveying each day that eMAG brings you new reasons of enjoyment, in an up-to-minute, relevant and dynamic way, by serving custom logos for various moments and occasions, on a per user basis adequate to its demographics.
Furthermore, the new identity enables a very simple and versatile communication platform—both on-line and off-line—with greater impact and significantly lower cost.
“A Graphis Gold is a ‘big league’ award in design, yearned for by any designer, and it’s a great pride to mark a first one for Brandient and for Romania.”
—Cristian Kit Paul, Creative Partner, Brandient.
The eMAG logo was designed by Cristian ‘Kit” Paul, and implemented by Cristian Petre, Ciprian Badalan and Eugen Erhan.
Starting with the International Journal of Visual Communication in 1944, Graphis developed its now famous Annuals and became the classiest global design publications, of good taste and impeccable care.
