Brandient featured in The Package Design Book #3

Übernuts ranks amongst the most outstanding works of 2013-2014


The Pentawards Package Design Book

Brandient’s design packaging for Übernuts is now featured in the 3rd issue of The Package Design Book. The publication by Taschen showcases the 2013 and 2014 winners of the Pentawards – the world’s most prestigious competition in the field of design packaging.

This is not the first time that works by Brandient are published in this particular collection. Packaging identities for Cuculand and Papane were both featured in The Package Design Book #1 that covered the 2009-2010 Pentawards winners.

In the collection’s 3rd issue, Übernuts is showcased amongst other 400 outstanding works from over 30 countries, that were awarded in the last two years.

The Package Design Book #3 thus gathers an abundance of creativity in every form of packaging, from all over the world. According to the foreword by Gérard Caron, founder of Carré Noir and Chair of the Pentawards Jury since 2007, the 3rd edition also outlines trends and future directions in design packaging. These include the outstanding creativity and design innovation in emerging markets (Romania included), a developing Chinese-style design, and the rise of flat packaging as a result of the Internet generation’s influence.
