Brandient presented with highest prize at ReBrand100
Best of Awards was conferred on for the rebranding of Dedeman
Brandient received with the most important distinction - Best of Awards - at the international ReBrand100 competition, hosted by the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, in the United States. The prize was conferred on for the rebranding of Dedeman, the Romanian company specialized in construction materials retail.
The jury, composed of reputed business and design leaders, rewarded not just the logo solution—the “helmeted dog”—but also the consistent and sizable implementation of the new identity, throughout all brand vectors. The Dedeman rebranding took place during the second half of 2007, and the firm turnover increased a solid 35 percent in 2008.
At the same edition of the competition, Brandient furthermore received a Merit award for the CEC Bank rebranding, a process that brought the esteemed Romanian institution at the starting point of a new beginning, while at the same time, managed to keep the entire force of a tradition spanning over 145 years.
ReBrand100 offers the highest recognition for excellence in brand reconstruction and redesign in the world of business. The jury of this edition was composed of branding and design international personalities such as Jane Parker, CEO Interbrand Health, Howard Belk, Co-President and Chief Creative Officer at Siegel-Gale, and Bruno Schmidt, Partner Metadesign Zurich.
