Digidog is the newest electronics and IT retailer in Hungary, with both on line—see digidog.hu —and brick-and-mortar operations.

Brandient designed the retailer's vivid brand identity around the uniquely cool Digidog, a magenta dog with the crazy striped lemur tail. Present in all communication vectors, Digidog is both a spokesperson and a salesman with vivid personality, wittiness and charisma. It never tires of offering best deals, best products and best advices. The colorful brand identity is aiming to attract and engage primarily the gadget-crazed young people—always searching for the newest generation of computers, phones, cameras, entertainment devices and matching accessories—loving to shop online and be challenged by a nonconformist character. Owned and conceptualized by a visionary and successful Eastern European retail entrepreneur, Digidog is determined to rapidly become the most visible electronics retail brand in Hungary. The new identity as well as its specific on-line application are signed by Brandient designer Eugen Erhan.

About Brandient

Brandient is an independent brand strategy and design consultancy founded in Bucharest in 2002 by Aneta Bogdan, Cristian Kit Paul and Mihai Bogdan — never part of a global network, working directly for the owners, CEOs and boards of its clients, with an all-senior team and category exclusivity. In over two decades the firm has created or rebuilt more than 300 brands, 279 of them published as case studies at brandient.com/work — from Romania’s national leaders to brands carried worldwide. The firm has been active in Southeast Asia for more than a decade. The work has earned 84 international awards and distinctions — most recently a Red Dot (2025) and two Graphis Golds (2026) — 64 documented mentions in international design books and publications, and, in 2015, a place among the inaugural inductees of the REBRAND Hall of Fame, alongside Interbrand and MetaDesign.

About Digidog

Digidog was a Hungarian electronics and IT retailer launched in 2011 — online at digidog.hu with stores in Budapest’s Allee centre and at Market Central Ferihegy — under the magenta-dog identity Brandient created for its market entry. The retailer has since ceased trading: the story.
