Budureasca Noble
Premium cuvées, printed on glass and sealed in heritage
Budureasca is one of the modern wineries of Dealu Mare, Romania’s best-known red-wine appellation — a substantial estate whose cuvées had collected international medals year after year. By any product measure it was a leader — and the brand had room to grow into the positive perception the wine had already earned, to seduce and to signal as the wine deserved. Inside that opportunity sat a specific commercial decision. Budureasca needed a credible premium tier — wines that could command a premium price and a place on the gift table — but its prevailing image, locked to a heritage, tradition-bound register, could not carry that claim on its own.
Noble was Brandient’s answer to that decision: the winery’s exclusive cuvée range, led by Noble Five, a red blend, and Noble White, a blend of three noble white varietals adapted to the Budureasca terroir. The whole range belongs to the house idea Brandient framed for Budureasca to build against — the Ritual of Perpetual Joy, the wine treated as a ritual held in honor of the person drinking it — so the premium tier had to read not as a more expensive bottle but as a more meaningful one.
Brandient built the range as a masterpack, a single coherent design system so the cuvées read as one premium family rather than a scatter of one-off labels. Each design move answered the premium question. A gothic letterform, carried over from the line’s existing character, gave Noble a distinct and ownable voice on the shelf. The label was printed directly onto the glass so the wine itself shows through — the bottle reads as the object, not as a paper wrapper, which is what a buyer paying a premium expects to hold. And because exclusivity has to be vouched for, not merely asserted, Brandient signed the range with a threefold endorsement: the Budureasca logo, the Dacian seal on the capsule, and the signature of the winery’s oenologist — three marks that tell the buyer, before a cork is drawn, that the house stands behind what is inside.
A collector box for six bottles completed the range and settled its commercial role. It made Noble the house’s gift-worthy expression — noble Romanian wine made to be given and to be kept — and gave Budureasca a visible, credible top to its portfolio: proof that the winery’s reputation for quality finally had a brand to match it.
