A Romanian e-commerce player in the field of online bookstores that emerged as a frontrunner in a fiercely competitive landscape aims to become a beacon for book lovers.
Libris mandated Brandient to upgrade the brand's relevance and customer experience and boost visibility, especially in front of the young gen.
Central to Libris's rebranding strategy was the theme of curatorship expertise, encapsulated in the motto "We Know Books" — around the deep understanding and passion for books, which resonates with the brand's core audience.
The rebranding exercise sought to marry the commerce of books with a modern, humanist, and engaging design ethos. The aim was to appeal to customers' functional needs while captivating their emotional and aesthetic sensibilities. This was achieved through a comprehensive overhaul of digital and physical brand elements—from creating a user-friendly web store interface to redesigning the corporate identity and developing visually striking packaging and an eye candy merchandising kit. Each component was thoughtfully designed to reflect Libris's commitment to modernity and the enduring love for books.
Through strategic design and a clear understanding of its audience, Libris has set the stage for a new chapter in its story that continues to celebrate the convenience and joy of reading in the digital era.
