Depanero
New visual identity for Romania’s leading player in the electronics repair services market
In response to the post-communist surge in demand for IT&C products, an expansive after-sales services industry rapidly evolved. As the guarantee of reliable after-sales service directly influenced purchasing decisions, Depanero, launched in 2011, quickly ascended to the position of Romanian market leader in electronics repair services. Its accelerated growth and nationwide expansion signaled the need for a rebranding effort that would underscore the company’s newly acquired leadership status and its commitment to customer-centricity.
The name — Depanero, the client’s own, already established in the market — stayed. Brandient’s mandate was the brand around it: the positioning, a complete visual identity, digital and communication design, and the brand guidelines to govern them.
The identity Brandient created is carried by a distinct and memorable symbol — a running ostrich — that subtly hints at the speed and responsiveness that characterize Depanero’s service delivery. Adding an element of surprise to the logo, the ostrich’s head takes the form of a socket, visually reinforcing Depanero’s bold brand promise: "We fix anything that connects to a socket". The work was recognized with a Gold in the Graphis Design Annual 2018 and a LogoLounge 10 selection.
