Frateus
A convivial name for a range of European-recipe sausages
Frateus is a range of chicken sausages from the poultry producer Transavia — and the brief was to lift a humble everyday product into something people actively want. Brandient’s move was to reframe the category around conviviality: sausages not as cheap protein but as a social ritual, the kind of food shared with friends like beer or mici. The name Frateus, rooted in frate (brother), carries that idea of good-humored brotherhood; a smiling sun-and-moon face says it twice over — time spent relaxing with friends, and a product good for any moment, day or night.
On that platform Brandient built the range and its packaging: five chicken sausages in celebrated European styles — German bratwurst, Viennese, Hungarian, Spanish and an English recipe — importing a little culinary prestige into a familiar shelf, each pack carrying Transavia’s endorsement so the family reads as one.
