Matricia
A name built on the matrix beneath a well-run business
Around 2005, business-management software was a forbidding category for many Romanian companies — powerful but complex, and easy to mistrust. Matricia — established by a highly experienced team of consultants to bring leading business-management software to the Romanian market — set out to make an enterprise system feel approachable rather than intimidating.
Brandient created the name and the visual identity. Matricia — from matrix — names the underlying grid on which a well-run business depends; a light, lowercase wordmark and a restrained red-and-gray palette keep the technology human rather than austere, under the line Shared Purpose. The Matricia logotype was later selected into Michael Evamy’s Logotype (Laurence King) and its German edition TypoLogo.
