A members-only club, built around brands themselves
My Name Is Brand was an invitation-only online club for designer fashion — Guess, Prada, Gucci, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana and the like — sold in time-limited campaigns at steep discounts. Members signed in to a private world of sales: Romania’s answer to the designer private-shopping clubs of the day.
The brand idea turned the obvious tension into the proposition: a place that discounts luxury still has to feel like luxury. My Name Is Brand had to be more than an e-retailer — a brand in its own right — so that a bargain never read as cheap and the club could sit credibly inside the high-end landscape it sold from. The name says it plainly, with a wink: here, who you are is the brands you choose.
Brandient created the name and identity in 2009, then dressed it for the part. The stacked MYNAME ISBRAND™ wordmark and a circular B monogram anchored a first, luxurious system in dark brown and gold — wrapping paper, stickers and gold-foil or blind-embossed swing-tags that made every parcel feel like a designer purchase (2011). When the club relaunched in partnership with Belgium’s Outlet-Avenue, the palette was refreshed to a lighter, classic scheme of rose and deep maroon — elegant, and more approachable (2012).
