A truly HR helpdesk in the cloud
MyStaff is an integrated HR-management software suite — a platform that lets a human-resources department run onboarding, employee communication and compliance documents in one place, with the engaging, social feel of a network rather than a back-office system. It was the platform behind Smartree, the HR-outsourcing service, and was owned by a technology group.
HR software is a cold, technical, compliance-driven category, and MyStaff’s own personality was deliberately strong and a little austere. Brandient’s move was to humanize that coldness without faking warmth: the name puts the person first — my staff — plain, personal and direct, while the visual identity reframes a rigid HR system as something closer to a living organism — a "digital grapes" mark that reads at once as a living creature and a pulsing network, fusing technological and human cues. The mark was recognized with a Pentawards nomination (2009) and a Graphis Logo Design Merit (2011).
