Branding a breakthrough electrode technology to drive the energy-storage revolution

Neocarbonix is Nanoramic Labs' breakthrough electrode technology — a 3D nanoscopic carbon binding structure that replaces the conventional polymer binder, and the toxic NMP solvent, in battery and ultracapacitor electrodes, lowering cost, raising energy density and improving recyclability.

Positioned as "A Nanoramic Labs Technology," Neocarbonix needed a brand of its own — credible enough to be licensed into the world’s battery-manufacturing lines, yet clearly part of the Nanoramic family.

Brandient built the brand around a single ambition: driving the energy-storage revolution. A tech-forward system pairs a navy-to-cyan-to-green palette with Montserrat and IBM Plex Mono typography, glowing low-poly 3D illustrations of the battery-powered world the technology enables, and a set of benefit icons — lower cost to manufacture, scalable process, high power, longer cycle life, and operation across temperature extremes.

The result is a confident, energetic technology brand that carries Neocarbonix from the laboratory onto the global stage — where it now powers collaborations across the automotive and battery industry.
